"I am a retired surgeon and although I used to illustrate some of my more interesting operation notes with line drawings I've only started to make pictures with any consistency since I stopped working. I've tried most media but most of my work has been in pastels, acrylic and watercolour. Recently I've settled, at least for a while, on pen and wash."
